In December 2017, the new Hirokawa Co., Ltd. was registered as the succeeding corporation following the qualified split-off-type company split of the old Hirokawa Co., Ltd. April 1916	Joichi Hirokawa, the first president, founded the paper wholesale business
November 1936	Establishment of the predecessor, Toho Partnership. Temporary suspension of operations due to World War II, etc.
December 1957	Incorporation of Hirokawa Co., Ltd.
December 1960	Expansion of the printing, paper container, packaging materials division.
December 1964	Completion and relocation to the head office building (Hirokawa Building).
January 1967	Increase of capital to 10 million yen.
April 1973	Establishment of Higashi-Osaka Distribution Center (Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture).
July 1973	Establishment of Ace Pack Co., Ltd. (Affiliated company).
February 1977	Increase of capital to 20 million yen.
January 1978	Hitoshi Hirokawa appointed President and Representative Director.
January 1979	Increase of capital to 30 million yen.
